Morel

Morel, a proud Texas A&M University alumna with a degree in Coastal Environmental Science and Society, found her true calling in the serene coastal regions of Florida four years ago. She is passionate about inspiring and nurturing young minds at Oceans Church in Destin, where she works with children aged 3 to 14, including those with nonverbal communication needs, fostering their curiosity and growth.

Morel is also a Science and Assistant Teacher for Kindergarten through 2nd grade at The Nature School, where she focuses on fostering a deep connection between students and the natural world, nurturing curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. With her background, she brings a compassionate and supportive approach to working with all children.

When she's not engaged in her community work, you can find Morel enjoying the great outdoors, jogging with her dog, Tikka, and participating in various outdoor activities. With a deep love for both children and adventure, Morel embodies compassion, curiosity, and a dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of those around her.
